Lunar New Year Countdown! What If You Haven't Received an Offer Yet?

If you're preparing to study abroad this year,
you're bound to get a lot of questions at the New Year family gatherings😣
Turn your relatives' concern into motivation 💪
Let's think about what we can still do right now.

📍Check your application status yourself

1. Make sure all your materials are uploaded in the online application system
Sometimes it's not that you didn't submit everything; the system just hasn't updated in time, which delays the admissions review.
So log in often to check, and if this happens, email the school as soon as possible to follow up.

2. Other applicants to the same program have already received a decision
This is when you can write a follow-up email on your own initiative, restating your motivation and enthusiasm for the program.
A sincere email with a clear goal may make it easier for admissions to decide to admit you!
It's fine if you don't get a reply, but you only get a chance if you reach out.

📍Schools with later application deadlines

This post rounds up a few more schools the last post didn't mention!
If you don't see a school you're interested in, you can still book a consultation and ask.

📍Apply to a pathway program

• GPA around 2.5?

• TOEFL/IELTS score not very high?

• Haven't taken the GRE/GMAT?

• No time to get recommendation letters ready?

Consider applying straight to a pathway program to make Fall 2024 efficiently!

✍️5 benefits of a pathway program

1. A fast application process, and most offer scholarship opportunities

2. Language and degree courses are taken at the same time, so graduation isn't delayed

3. You get to take classes with both international and local students

4. Extra academic, life and career support is usually provided

5. More time to improve your English and adjust to the new environment

❗But not every school offers a pathway program

Here are a few popular pathway schools in the US and Canada
👉American University
👉Simon Fraser University
👉University of Utah

🎊Hope everyone finds the admission route that suits them and gets into their dream school!

May all your wishes come true and the Year of the Dragon bring you good luck~
