🤝🏻 Peer Support Network | How to Quickly Filter and Find Alumni and Senior Students (Google Sheet Filters) Ep. 3

How do you quickly find alumni and senior students?

“First click the 3 on the left (to select row 3)” - “Data” - “Filter views” - “Create new temporary filter view”

Once that’s done, you can search and look people up by country, school and department!

Filter and search buttons will appear in the row 3 cells you just selected~

Before applying abroad, while choosing schools, and even after going abroad, we often need to ask alumni or current students questions at every stage! That’s why OfferLand wants to build a “Peer Support Network” platform that brings together everyone who is enthusiastic and willing to answer younger students’ questions, like you, in one shared peer support directory!

OfferLand plans to start with a Google Form and gradually build out the “Peer Support Network” features, which will later become part of the OfferLand website.

We’d like to invite you to be among the first alumni and senior students listed in the form. We hope we can connect with each other wherever in the world we are!

📌 International students who are “confirmed to enroll soon,” “currently enrolled” or “graduated”:

👉🏻 Please fill out this Google Form: https://forms.gle/Cg5H4bT51VFpkMs49

Sharing admission results on OfferLand & your profile page link

One field in the form asks for your “OfferLand profile page link”

1. Go to the OfferLand website

2. Click “top right” - “avatar” - “Profile”

3. Click “Edit” under admission results on your profile page and start sharing your application data!

4. Copy the URL of your “Profile” page into the Google Form

🙋🏻 Younger students: look up alumni and senior students’ info, then introduce yourself politely and ask your questions~

🗺️ Development plan for this Peer Support Network

OfferLand plans to start from this form and gradually build out the “Peer Support Network” features, which will later become part of the OfferLand website! We’ll use our existing complete database of schools and programs and its search features so younger students can find someone to ask even faster!

So we’d ask you to first “share your application data” on OfferLand’s admission results platform and put your OfferLand profile page URL in the form. That way, besides finding your contact info, younger students can also learn about your application and background from the data you share. And once the new features launch, we can quickly move the “public Google Sheet data” over to the OfferLand website.
