OfferLand editorial team

OfferLand’s official columns are planned and published by the editorial team and are built mainly on the site’s own data: admission results self-reported by Taiwanese applicants, interview write-ups and forum posts. This page explains how the columns are produced and checked, and how we correct mistakes.

How the columns are made

  • Data: admit rates, GPAs, TOEFL scores and other figures are computed directly from the site’s database, with the same definitions as the data methodology page. Every column states its data cut-off date and sample size; figures based on fewer than 5 results are not shown.
  • External facts: tuition, visa and test rules are taken only from official school, government or test-provider websites, listed at the end of the column with the date checked. Anything we cannot confirm is marked as “check the official notice”; we do not guess.
  • Writing: the editorial team writes the columns with AI assistance and checks figures and sources against the rules above. The “AI summary” sections on comparison pages also show their data date and sources.
