Is studying in Australia really for everyone?
What studying in Australia is like
Today I want to share some of my own experience. Studying abroad is great, but it really isn't for everyone, so think it through before you go!
1⃣️Slow pace of life, boring
Australia is honestly pretty boring. There isn't much to do for fun, and lots of shops close once the sun goes down, so be mentally prepared before you come to study. Also, every kind of service here is slow, buses are often late, and getting a card issued takes days😓
2⃣️Exhausting (but worth it)
Don't assume studying in Australia is easy. Midterms and final week are super exhausting, with two or three weeks straight of not getting enough sleep. But you have to live with the decisions you make, and you really do feel like you're learning a lot. It's very rewarding
3⃣️In a good mood
I'm really happy studying in Australia. It's sunny here pretty much all the time, the locals around me are quite friendly, and with the sense of achievement from studying on top of that, every day feels full and happy
4⃣️Renting
Renting is really hard, but if you see a place for rent on the street, you can go in and take a look. You don't have to rely only on what agents recommend
That's it for today~ You can weigh up whether it's right for you
If there's anything else that's hard or good about living in Australia, feel free to share it with me too!
