What do you all think of people who went to the US for high school all the way through a master's?

Not sure if any of you have friends like this
sent abroad by their parents starting in high school
and you watch them living it up abroad, drinking at house parties
then after college they get into a top 30 master's program
it really doesn't sit right with me =3=
I know I'm just envious and jealous, but seeing them have such a great time
while I'm still here at 30k =.=

Feeling really down
