A Must-Read for Students and Working Holidaymakers in Japan: The Complete Guide to Rakuten Mobile Deals

Hi everyone, I'm Claire, an employee of Japan's Rakuten Group. Today I especially want to share some good news about Rakuten Mobile with Taiwanese friends studying or working in Japan! We know life in another country is always full of challenges, especially when it comes to setting up your phone, and everyone wants something cheap and convenient. Right now, our great-value plan costs just 980 yen/month (up to 3GB), so you can get around anywhere in Japan as you like!

Choosing Rakuten Mobile doesn't just mean a low price and stable service; you also get shopping perks on Rakuten Ichiba!

Even better, if you use my Rakuten employee referral, a new number earns you 7000 Rakuten points, and transferring your number (MNP) earns 14,000 Rakuten points. That's several thousand yen more than signing up the usual way. A great deal!

If this plan sounds right for you, scan the QR code below and log in to your Rakuten account to start signing up easily. I hope you'll join us and enjoy a freer, more affordable mobile experience!

For those who travel abroad, we provide 2GB of free overseas roaming every month, so whether you're going back to Taiwan to visit family or traveling abroad, you can save on roaming fees. On top of that, Rakuten Mobile has no cancellation fee, so you can cancel any time, giving you more flexibility and freedom.

If you're already in Japan and using another carrier, you can use MNP (number porting) to move your current phone number to Rakuten Mobile without any hassle.

Rakuten Mobile also offers fast online activation, so you don't have to wait through tedious procedures. At Rakuten Mobile stores, we also have Chinese- and English-speaking staff who can help with any problems you run into.
