🔔 Why I recommend the SK2 TOEFL intensive course: 101 on my second attempt!

My job required it, so I decided to apply to graduate school overseas while still working, and the TOEFL was the first hurdle. My English had always been good enough, from school through work, but after trying some TOEFL practice tests I realized that everyday English wasn't enough: the test is timed and covers unfamiliar academic subjects, so I needed more complete practice and test-taking techniques to get the score I wanted.

A friend introduced me to SK2, where I took a few weeks of TOEFL classes covering all four sections: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The intensive course runs for about a month, and weekend classes are very friendly for people with full-time jobs. The course handouts, after-class mentor time and after-class practice with classmates covered the full scope of the test. By the end of the course I not only understood the TOEFL much better but also had a more effective way to prepare, so I registered for the test right after the course ended.

🔔 Over 90 within a month: why I recommend SK2

Why I chose SK2 TOEFL

I compared a lot of prep schools and finally chose SK2 TOEFL, mainly for its professional teaching team, well-planned curriculum and efficient learning resources. Many upperclassmen who got high scores recommended SK2 and said its exclusive techniques and strategies noticeably improve test performance. SK2 also provides pre-class videos, after-class resources and consultant time, so students can keep track of their progress and focus on their weak spots. That was exactly the environment I needed.

Course resources

SK2's pre-class videos let me preview the material and build the basic concepts, which made the actual classes far more efficient. The after-class resources, like consultant time, TA help, one-on-one consultations and study groups, let us train on our individual weak points. The TA-led study groups in particular: through discussions with classmates, I found I could use the techniques I'd learned more flexibly.

Thank you to SK2 TOEFL for such complete learning resources, and to all the consultants and TAs who helped me raise my TOEFL score so much in such a short time. To everyone still preparing, I want to say: "Keep going, find the study method that works for you, and you'll definitely reach your target score!"
